Women Technology Entrepreneurs Roundtable
December 12 @ 2:00 PM - 3:30 PMFREE
The Holiday Season can be hectic. Come take a break with cookies, coffee, and camaraderie by joining us for the Women Technology Entrepreneurs Roundtable. We’ll be exploring the unique challenges faced by women in starting and scaling businesses in the Edmonton innovation ecosystem — and work on developing the solutions to make us the most female-friendly start-up city in Canada.
What is it? Here is the opportunity to share your challenges, successes, and help unite and strengthen the female technology entrepreneur community in Edmonton. Whether you’re a brand new founder or seasoned entrepreneur, chances are you’ve encountered hurdles your male colleagues have not had to face. Female-led start-ups are underfunded are underrepresented, particularly in science and technology. Let’s change that.
Who should come? Any founder, co-founder, or leader in a technology-based or technology-enabled start-up, at any stage of business from idea to established who wants to increase the support for female entrepreneurs in the city. A love of holiday cookies recommended but not required.
