Your Journey with TEC

1   First Contact

We meet with you to help you identify your needs and to see if we can help you. This is our initial screening of your business, service or product. If we can help, we move on to a deeper assessment. If we can’t help, we’ll find somebody who can.

2   Getting to Know You

For your next meeting, we build a team to help assess what your critical near-term needs are. Every early stage company is different. Our team of highly experienced Executives-in-Residence and technology management experts will help you assess options, and prepare an acceleration plan to guide your growth.

3   Accelerate Your Plan

Your acceleration plan may include:

Our Executives-in-Residence are all successful entrepreneurs who have been there, done that and now want to give back and help you grow successfully. We match our Executives-in-Residence to client needs to ensure the best fit and outcomes.

We offer a wide range of business services, including market opportunity assessments, business planning, access to venture angel networks, help with grant applications, incubator office & lab space, product development, marketing & branding, and regulatory compliance.

Our Technology Management specialists will advise you on Intellectual Property (IP) options, protection, licensing and commercialization strategies.

We assist you with your development as an entrepreneur through business workshops, seminars and business competitions like our annual province-wide TEC VenturePrize Business Plan Competition for start-up companies. We will introduce you to key individuals within your sector through our network.
